PROJECT ARCHITECT - fulltime

TBE is pressing on towards the future. We are currently hiring a Project Architects with an interest in hospitality design. Candidates must possess a passion for the industry and an eagerness to create memorable environments.

TBE Architects is a mid-sized (under 30 person) design firm that accomplishes nationally recognized large scale hospitality work across North America. We are specialists in Resort, Hotel and Casino design, with a unique niche of Native American casinos. We work on projects ranging from $50M to $400M. Our work is fun, rewarding and makes a difference in the lives of the clients we partner with.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field

  • Professional licensure as an architect is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and project management

  • Proficiency in Revit, with familiarity of other architectural software (2 yrs. required)

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • This position offers a competitive salary based on experience.

  • Reliably commute or planning to relocate to St. Louis, MO area, before starting work (Required)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their project requirements and goals.

  • Assist in the development of design proposals, including 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and models.

  • Create detailed architectural plans, specifications, and construction documents.

  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project feasibility and compliance with building codes and regulations.

  • Oversee the construction process to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.

  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and interns.
